Digital X-Ray

In our hospitals, we use Digital Radiography systems. It is a top-notch digital image processing technology that uses x-ray–sensitive plates to directly capture data during the patient examination which is transferred immediately to a computer.
Digital x-rays can be used to diagnose problems with bone, teeth, or any other organ.

Most common issues an x-ray might diagnose include:

Tumors
Digestive issues
Arthritis
Pulmonary (lung) problems
Enlarged heart
Various forms of cancer, including bone cancer
Blocked blood vessels
Osteoporosis
Fractures
Infections

Benefits
Clearer images
Sharper at any size
Exposes patient to only a fraction of the usual radiation

USG

Diagnostic ultrasound is also called sonography or diagnostic medical sonography. This imaging method uses high-frequency sound waves to produce images of structures within the body. The test is done for diagnosing and treating a variety of diseases and conditions.
We offer portable bedside ultrasound scanners with the latest technology.

Different types of ultrasound:
Transrectal ultrasound: A transducer is inserted into a man’s rectum to view his prostate.

Transvaginal ultrasound: A transducer is inserted into a woman’s vagina to view her uterus and ovaries.

Transesophageal echocardiogram: A transducer is inserted into your oesophagus, usually with sedation, to obtain heart images.

Doppler

A Doppler ultrasound is an imaging test that can be used to estimate the blood flow through the blood vessels by bouncing high-frequency sound waves (ultrasound) off circulating red blood cells.

Doppler test helps to diagnose many conditions including:
A blocked artery (arterial occlusion)
Blood clots
Bulging arteries (aneurysms)
Heart valve defects and congenital heart disease
Poorly functioning valves in your leg veins, which can cause blood or other fluids to pool in your legs (venous insufficiency)
Narrowing of an artery, such as in your neck (carotid artery stenosis)
Decreased blood circulation into your legs (peripheral artery disease)

We employ highly skilled technicians to provide the best possible scans for evaluation by our experts.

ECHO

An Echocardiogram (ECHO) is a test that uses ultrasound to produce images of your heart. It shows how your heart muscle and valves are working. This test will allow your doctor to see your heart beating and pumping blood.
An ECHO test is done to:
Detect congenital heart defects before birth (foetal echocardiogram)
Check if heart problems are the cause of symptoms such as shortness of breath or chest pain
Check for problems with the valves or chambers of your heart
Types of Echocardiogram (ECHO)
Transthoracic echocardiogram
Transesophageal echocardiogram
Doppler echocardiogram
Stress echocardiogram
Our extremely competent physicians follow rigorous procedures to ensure that the results are accurate.

TMT

A treadmill test (TMT) helps determine how far your heart can go before an abnormal rhythm to the heart muscle drops. You will be asked to walk on a treadmill, and the difficulty level will be gradually increased.
TMT Helps In
Evaluating the effectiveness of therapy or medication for chest pain or irregular heartbeat
Checking whether sufficient blood flows to your heart as you get more active
It can be also useful in situations where treating soft tissue pain may affect other parts of the body such as the pain or neck.
In Kmc our extremely competent physicians, surgeons, cardiologists, nurses and lab staff are extremely alert to the needs of our patients and make you comfortable during the test.
Skin Laser Treatment
Skin Laser treatment can help improve various problems of the skin, such as acne scarring, fine lines, wrinkles, sun spots, and even tattoos and loose skin.
Laser skin resurfacing removes skin layer by layer with precision. The new skin cells that form during healing give the skin a tighter, younger-looking surface.
In KMC we provide safe and effective treatment that you will love the skin once you’re in.

CT

Computed Tomography, commonly referred to as CT scan, is a diagnostic imaging procedure that combines data from several X-rays to produce a detailed image of structures inside the body.
CT scan can find :
Certain types of cancer and benign tumors.
Internal bleeding.
Fractures (broken bones).
Bowel disorders (blockages, Crohn’s disease).
Heart disease.
Blood clots.
Brain and spinal cord diseases or injuries.
CT scans are generally regarded as safe by healthcare experts. Children’s CT scans are also safe.
At KMC, we have an efficient team to carry out the CT scans safely.

MRI

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a diagnostic test that uses magnetic and radio waves to produce images of the structures in the body. This can be used to produce 3D images from different angles.
It is performed to diagnose breast diseases, heart and blood vessel disorders, bone and joint disorders, brain and spinal cord abnormalities, and internal organs disorders.

MRI can help diagnose:
Spinal cord injuries
Ballooning of the blood vessels (aneurysms)
Tumors
Multiple sclerosis
Stroke
Joint disorders such as arthritis and bone infections
Disorders of the eye and internal ear

We use advanced MRI scanning systems to ensure that every patient gets results that are accurate, fast, and cost-effective.

Cath Lab

A catheterization laboratory, often known as a cath lab, is an examination room in a hospital or clinic equipped with diagnostic imaging equipment that is used to perform tests and procedures such as ablation, angioplasty, angiography, and pacemaker/ICD implantation.

Diagnostic procedures carried out in our Cardiac Cath Lab include:
Electrophysiological studies
Right and left heart catheterization
Coronary angiogram

Therapeutic procedures performed in our Cardiac Cath Lab include:
Specialized biventricular
Defibrillators (ICDs)
ASD/VSD Closure
Percutaneous coronary intervention
Permanent pacemakers
Pacemakers/defibrillators for heart failure (CRT-D/CRT-P)
Ablation procedures for heart rhythm abnormalities

At KMC, we provide high-quality medical evaluations.

Skin Laser

Skin Laser treatment can help improve various problems of the skin, such as acne scarring, fine lines, wrinkles, sun spots, and even tattoos and loose skin.
Laser skin resurfacing removes skin layer by layer with precision. The new skin cells that form during healing give the skin a tighter, younger-looking surface. The procedure can be done alone or with other cosmetic surgeries on the face

Treats various skin issues including:
Pigmentation.
Wrinkles.
Fine lines.
Age spots.
Freckles.
Unwanted tattoos.
Acne scars.
Birthmarks.

In KMC we provide safe and effective treatment that you will love the skin once you’re in.
